BACK TO SPEAKERS

Cédric Villani, winner of the 2010 Fields Medal – the world’s highest distinction in mathematics – has been leading a broad reflection on artificial intelligence since September 2017, leading to the presentation of a detailed report.

Among the many avenues proposed in this report, he explains that he wants to create a network of interdisciplinary institutes of AI, and make careers in public research more attractive in order to stop the European brain drain towards the Sillicon Valley.
